I am so sad to be writing this review but I feel people must be informed. I love Golden Delight’s fresh strawberry cake. I ordered it for my wedding cake, was told they could fulfill my order and I even paid the $600 it cost for it. This was many months ago. Now less than two months from my wedding they called me to tell me they are actually on vacation during my wedding and they cannot fulfill my order. This was already enraging. They said they could refund my order and maybe I could check with their gahanna location to see if they’re available. I inquired about them placing the same order through the other location and they said they have different management so I would need to call and re-place my order and pay again. This is absolutely absurd and terrible customer service. They left me absolutely high and dry and didn’t even offer to call the other location themselves to fix their mess. I got a refund yhem drove to the other location where they told me I can’t place an order for a wedding cake because their manager was not present. Eventually I just said SCREW this place and placed an order for my cake from Belle’s bread who immediately took my order and payment. Absolutely un

This is a WAYYYYYYYYYYY overdo review. My 21 year old and I were talking about their r 2nd birthday. And I was telling them about how Golden Delight saved their birthday after a disaster with another baker nearly ruined it. We were doing a Strawberry Shortcake themed party. Golden Delight was able to do something for us on the fly. They really saved the 2nd birthday party. The cake was AMAZING for that birthday, and ever since. We moved away years ago. But we will make it a point to continue to support this local bakery every time we're in town.

Absolutely wonderful. Now I see why this cake is sooooo talked about. Light, flavorful and delicious cakes. Best kept secret....🍰

I’m in town visiting from NH, where there is NOOOO PANDAN anything for hours! The flavor is unknown around home so I’m always scouring menus looking for pandan treats or coffee when out of town. Golden Delight did not disappoint ❤️😇 the cakes are delicious & airy, not fake or overly sweet! will be back next time we’re visiting for sure!!

Absolutely outstanding fresh strawberry cake! We picked up a ready made 7” cake from the bakery case for a birthday. The nice owner added a birthday sign and wrote the name in strawberry gel, for no extra cost. Everyone loved it and I’m still dreaming about how good it was!
